Description of Aries Automotive 2166071 Shackles
READY TO WORK. These D-ring shackles are perfect for offroad, recovery towing applications, featuring a work load limit of 12,500 lbs. (limited to mounting structure capacity). VERSATILE FIT. Each of these D-rings is equipped with a 7/8-inch diameter pin to fit a wide variety of truck and Jeep applications, including ARIES TrailCrusher Jeep bumpers. The shackles have an inside diameter of 2 inches. HIGH-STRENGTH. These D-ring tow hooks are constructed for maximum strength featuring solid, forged steel construction. CORROSION-RESISTANT. To outlast the offroad elements and maintain strong corrosion resistance, these D-shackles are protected with a durable carbide black powder coat finish. The pins are also hot-dipped galvanized. EASY TO INSTALL. To mount these shackles onto a bumper or other surface, simply unscrew the threaded pin, hold the shackle in place and reinsert the pin. No additional hardware needed.
