While the mount is made of durable composite plastic, the phone holder itself is made of thin, cheap plastic and I'm worried that UV rays may damage it after a while. Mine is mounted on a salt water boat so I opened it up and the only metal is a spring which I filled with marine lube which should last a long time in the salt water. This car mount is essential. That's the real deal. It's very flexible and works great in either vertical or landscape orientation. But when you tighten it, it doesn't move at all. It comes with two sizes of mounting brackets and in my pictures I have the larger ones. My OnePlus 6 fits great. Remember you will need your own pan head screws as these are not included.

Very durable, looks well made. The only thing I don't like is that the grips sometimes fall off and if you pick up your phone at all the entire front part falls off. I am happy with everything and am planning to buy another one for my other car. To mark. The rear fingerprint scanners and camera are locked by the device.

I ordered this mount for my Jeep to mount my iPad Mini on. The mount is easy to use and I love the dual ball mounts to align the iPad perfectly. I was very impressed that the arm is actually metal and not cheap plastic. It makes a very stable impression and would definitely recommend it. It also works for my phone, but I would say it's better for the iPad mini. I will say the little handles that hold the unit seem a bit cheap but I haven't had any issues yet and it has spares just in case…

I have a Galaxy S21 Ultra in a case that includes the S Pen. It's wide. The Arkon phone holder is great for putting my phone in quickly and easily. i love this part I installed the device in my trailer. The hand it's attached to isn't the best design though. It suits me that the mounting base is screw-in. The lever uses one set screw for both adjustment balls, which I don't like about it. I know they make one with separate elbows that you can pinch on each and maybe I should have bought one but
