I was wondering if I should order this bed for my little 13 lb chihuahua due to negative reviews that the bed has no structure. Well I'm happy to report that my Chihuahua LOVES it! I took the small pillow that came with the bed (too thin IMHO) and put a nice warm blanket on the bottom of the bed. It's good! My dog loves it but he is a princess and loves beds in general. The top would stay up when she stopped sleeping on it. Knowing my dog likes to dig, I figured he would love this "cave". Not correct. The top is actually too high, if she wants to sleep under something she wants it to lie on top of her like a blanket. Basically she just sleeps on top of it and it's no different than any other bed. I bought two of these Armarkat -Beds, the sage green tunnel/sleeping bag and the burgundy cave. I first bought a tunnel bed because it looked like a cozy winter getaway for three cats who had just moved to my home in Massachusetts from a family member in California. The bed was a big hit with two Californian surfers and a Bostonian. The other two cats aren't interested, which I expected, and are about cats, not the bed. Since the bed was very popular, I ordered another one in a different shape.
