Very important! on beds and furniture

I have two 8 week old kittens and they took it like ducks in water. One of them figured out how to get to the top in the first days, the second - in a week. They romp and play on it and often sleep on the top perch. I've put it against a wall for extra stability, but it's all pretty solid and well made I think. Cats can easily hold onto the faux fur when climbing, and they like supports wrapped in sisal rope for scratching and climbing. It's also very easy to clean. The only thing it couldn't…

Fantastic playground for my 3 cats!

This thing is BIG. About five feet tall, two wide. It has a wide range of cat designs instead of the standard three platforms you usually see. There is a ramp leading to the hideout, a hole in the middle with a very thick rope to play with. My cats are bigger and one of them is too big to fit in the hole (he weighs 23lbs). The other two are also a bit thick but will fit in if stuffed in. For some reason they just don't want to. it could just be laziness, not some wrong product design. I can't…

Cute scratching post, good size

This scratching post is a good height and has a nice base size. The processing quality is very good. Easy to assemble. Because it only has 2 legs (rather than 3 or 4), it naturally wobbles slightly. Our 14 and 12 pound crampons didn't seem to mind at all. The cats played a little with the rope. Cats also jumped through the rope hole and regularly fell into it. A small "house" is fine for a 12 lb cat, but a 14 lb cat is cramped (although she will go in there). After a while we rearranged the…

LOVE IT! ***Updated*** Disappointed!

This place is perfect for my two big boys! Although I will say they don't care about the closet (even when I tried to put some catnip in it) although one of them checked it out when first putting it together and it fit there perfectly. My cats don't really hide, so this is a useless feature for me, but the rest of the device is more than adequate. Both of my boys weigh about 18 pounds each and this design keeps them light. They LOVE the top perches and love to ride with their limbs and head…

So far I'm incredibly satisfied

Caveat: I bought this scratching post in an open box from Revain for $41. I'm incredibly pleased so far but I think this is important information for anyone reading this review as you may be considering this scratching post for a higher price than I paid. I live in an average apartment with two active cats under 1 year old. The first scratching post I bought was a basic 3 tier scratching post (Cat Craft Model 12400301GRCOM). After we adopted our second kitten, I realized that a small tree…
