I bought Armor all as it is such a versatile product and I needed it for my car's exterior trim such as the front splitter and some rubber trim. These are the cars that began to turn white after fading. It was like there was some salt in the water and that made the plaster/rubber bits hard. It works straight away and brings back the original finish but needs to be recoated after a few weeks but it might just be my car's materials that tend to fade. Although many people use this product on various types of plastics and rubber both inside and outside the car, I find that it doesn't last as long. With this in mind, I limit the use of Armor All Protectant to 2-3 sprays per wheel well after brushing the wheel wells. This gives the wheel a darkened look and since the wheel wells get dirty relatively quickly, I'm not concerned about the durability of the Armor All itself.
