Chevrolet V-8 engines only require one bracket to mount the oil pump to the rear main bearing cap. Any conscientious engine builder will tell you that the oil pump fasteners are as important as the pump itself. There is no thinner fastener than ARP. So if you have a 95 cent motor, use a 95 cent screw.
