Will not fit my 1969 Corvette 350/300HP TH400.

I bought these for my 1969 Corvette 350/300HP. They didn't match the converter I bought from B&M. They were too big and no nuts were needed.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Good stuff is good for the gearbox and transmission

ARP bolts are the best insurance you can buy on a car. These bolts were larger than my factory flywheel bolts (weird) so I had to take an angle grinder and enlarge the flywheel bolt holes. Otherwise these bolts are great.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • To the point

No. 1 quality good for transmission and transmission

Screws received quickly, I had to drill out the flex plate a little. I prefer strong screws that fit well. Other brands of bolts were short and lost in the holes. My project is a BBC with Powerglide and 4700 rpm. I needed what ARP has! Very happy!

Pros
  • TRANSFORMER SCREW
Cons
  • Low repairability

Poorly made. fits torque converter

The second set of these I had the same problem with. Once tightened they were fine, but once tried to loosen them they didn't turn as if they were cross-threaded, despite actually being hand assembled prior to tightening. never had a problem with arp products other than these.

Pros
  • Fitment: vehicle specific
Cons
  • Some imperfections

WILL NOT FIT TH400 in torque converter

Okay, they nowhere near fit TH400 or TH350! The bolt is twice as long as it should be, it has too large a diameter. Even drilling out the converter and shearing off the bolts doesn't leave enough room to put a nut there, EVEN NAH! To be honest, I haven't seen converter bolts in a long time. Oh, and they have a 12-point bolt, so good luck finding a wrench in a hard-to-reach spot. I even checked the ARP website to make sure I ordered the same part number. Simply put, it is physically impossible…

Pros
  • Package Weight: 0.3 lbs
Cons
  • Not the best
