Arp quality control sucks!

Received my cleats on time except one of the cleats had no steps at one end! Arps quality controls must really suck, very disappointed I realized this when trying to install them too!

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Update available

Put them on several trucks in our fleet

I have fitted some of these kits on a few trucks and have had no problems. I pull the motor out when installing, this makes the job a lot easier and allows me to reseal the motor. I haven't had any head gasket problems since installation on the 5-6 sets I've installed so far.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

This is a real ARP kit!

All the components you will find in any other ARP 250-4202 kit but cheaper. All bolts are threaded. I guess I'll update them once they're installed if I run into any problems. I've also heard that after you do the torque sequence, you wait 24 hours for a stretch and then repeat the torque sequence before doing the final reassembly.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • No power

6.0L Powerstroke, individually occupied!

I spiked my 6.0L Powerstroke one by one. It was a fun project and the truck runs great with no issues. Pull on the passenger side air conditioner to get the passenger side studs. From the driver's side you have access to all but the rearmost cleats. To install this bolt, remove the 4 nuts from the motor mount and lift that side of the motor 3 inches, then remove the 2 bolts from the transmission mount and use a bottle jack to push the transfer case about 2-3 inches. " and the cap screw comes…

Pros
  • Sea of Positive Emotions
Cons
  • Volume
