🔩 Pack of 18 Liberty 160376 1-1/4" Cup Hooks in Rubbed Bronze Review

Just what I needed. I used them for 2 projects: 1. Hooks for necklaces and bracelets.2. Hooks for hanging string lights outdoors. They were the perfect size and strength for both of them. The price was better than a big store. I will not hesitate to buy 2 again!

As other reviews have mentioned you will need a 7/6 bit, not what is recommended for drilling hardwood. Depending on the size of the handle, you may need to bend the hook slightly. They bend easily and hold their shape well. No problem. I didn't take a star off any of these because they weren't specifically designed for coffee mugs, and in most woods you'll be drilling, the smaller they recommend the better.

They are great because the bronze patina allows them to work inside and out, both decorative and utilitarian. I use them as tie hooks, dog leash holders, power drill hooks and plant basket hangers. Admittedly these aren't heavy hooks and the planter basket can be a bit stretched, but this basket has been there for almost a year and hasn't moved. I've used them in drywall with and without dowels depending on intended use and they get the job done time and time again. I am addicted

These hooks are great quality but seller needs to be more specific and accurate on sizing! They are sold as 1-1/4" hooks, but the seller doesn't specify how many of the hooks are 1-1/4" long. I was hoping it was the diameter of the hinge but I think the seller was referring to the distance from the top of the hinge to the base above the threads. But even that size wasn't 1-1/4" but about 1/16" smaller. If I see the seller correct the description I will change my rating to 5 stars!

I ordered these mug hooks for a project I was working on. There was a small issue with the order as no hook sizes were listed other than the overall size of 1-1/4". I have used these hooks on several of my woodworking projects. I've recently been dabbling in wood pallet projects and coffee mug coasters. These hooks are great. I bought them at the local hardware store but they were half the price so I was happy. I pre-drill the holes so I don't split the boards and then tighten the hooks with my fingers. These are sturdy mug hooks or key hooks as they have a hook big enough to hang larger items.
