Worked as advertised - a small pleasant surprise

Not sure if these anchors really deserve 5 stars but I can say I had no excitement installing these anchors . My Arrow barn sits on a slab that I filled with Quikrete 4000 PSI concrete. I would say it takes about 30 to 40 days to dry before attempting to build a canopy on top of the slab. My experience is very positive. I prepared for bit issues based on previous reviews and fitted a quality masonry bit just in case something went wrong. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised when I drilled…

This item is useless

Save money it is useless. Holes mismatch, had to be 90% redrilled. Cement anchors which I couldn't use, I didn't see a way to hammer them in leaving the threads on top with the bushing down. I could get one, I had to put it on with the other sleeve to take it off. It took 5 minutes (because it was in a corner and harder to reach) so I just used cement screws. My kit also had 3 screws. It came with a masonry drill but it was very difficult (I used a hammer drill) to cut through the cement and…

not the best but works

don't rely on the drill if you can get one. Depending on the type of concrete you have, the drill may not work as well. Mine didn't break, but got too boring after drilling a hole and a half. This worked and I recommend getting 5 packs of Kolbolt 1/4 concrete bits, 4 used but worked better and faster. To be this, use caution and common sense. I broke one and couldn't do anything about it, but I got it working with my 10X12 Arrowscale. As the title suggests, it's not the best, but it works well…

Wood Floor Concrete Anchor Set

I decided to write a review on this product because others had a similar question about this product: Can it be used on wood floors? I decided to give it a try. As you can see in the picture, replacing the concrete anchors with wood screws works. For my project, I chose: 1-1/2" x 1/4" zinc plated screws + zinc plated washers (sold separately). Overall I'm happy with the product (e.g. the holes in the corner gussets match up well with the pre-drilled holes in my shed). I give this product 4…

This item is useless

Save money it is useless. The holes don't line up, I had to redrill 90% of mine. I could not attach the cement anchors. I haven't seen a way to hammer them in and leave the threads bushing down. I was able to get one, I had to use a different sleeve to pull it over the one to take it off. It took me 5 minutes (because it was in the corner and harder to reach) so I ended up just using cement screws. Also in my kit were 3 shorter screws. He went to the masonry with a drill, but it was very…
