Not as advertised in Painting, Mal- und Kunstbedarf

The reason for the bad reviews is because this watercolor notebook says 'off-white leaves' and the leaves are actually lavender and cream which would be cream. white or off-white. They also feel a bit light for a 90lb paper.

Pros
  • Very Good Price
Cons
  • Appearance

Goodbye ! on art paper

Natural white paper, also grey. Not bleached. The paper is good for beginners and is great for both dry and wet painting. I can see how prolonged use of water will cause the paper to sag, but you get what you pay for and it's not a very thick paper. Ideal for painting, watercolors and acrylics. Would buy again!

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • confused

Poor quality good for art paper

I was excited to use this watercolor paper but I peeled off the masking tape and when I tried to remove it all the paper underneath came loose along with the tape. I'm glad I noticed this before I started doing anything. I couldn't imagine how frustrating it would be to spend hours on a project only to end up tearing it apart.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Great paper for my needs.

I bought this watercolor paper to use for cards and/or craft projects. This is a very good weight and works well with pencils, markers and other materials. This allows the surface to be wetted without pilling or cracking. I have also used this paper in my Cuttlebug die cutter and it cuts very well. I would advise others to buy it for their work without hesitation.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Not sure

Durable but.

This paper has a strong binding, so I ordered these 2 packs at a great price. HOWEVER for watercolor paper this is just awful! It bends even with a minimal amount of water. It has an odd bluish tint that detracts from the color applied. This is the first time I am returning a product purchased from Revain. If you're an aspiring artist like me (unless you want a kid to color it), my suggestion would be this. rather spend a little more money for higher quality watercolor paper!

Pros
  • crafts and sewing
Cons
  • unreliable

MADE IN CHINA. NOT COST OF MONEY

This is NOT made in the USA but is made in China. SO disappointed - poor quality and overpriced product. The paper is grayish rather than white, the paper's short fibers lint easily, and the paper absorbs water like TP. Pages have occasional stains. It has a strange feeling when touched. Maybe it's our fault for believing it was made in the USA. But why those US flags and logos when the product itself is made in CHINA? This is misleading. Overall I would definitely not recommend this product.

Pros
  • Art Paper
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Not worth the money, very poor quality.

The paper quality is not impressive when it comes to watercolours. I have painted wet on dry, dampened the paper and painted with watercolors, both of which cause the paper to warp and peel as I paint. It was the newbie's choice of watercolor paper at a lower price point, but it wasn't great. I ended up using the rest for my pastel drawings instead of watercolor, which in pastels gave my drawings a nice texture and finish. But for watercolor it didn't suit me in my opinion. I wouldn't recommend

Pros
  • Art and painting supplies
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
