We've bought these a few times but they were terrible last time. In fact, one notebook was actually filled with more fibrous sketch paper instead of the smooth and glossy marking paper it was supposed to be. Another block was quite shiny on both sides. The other two pads muted the colors on the page. The black marker gave only gray lines. Really awful experience. Seems to be a quality control issue. We came back.

This is a gift from my 9 year old daughter. And when I get it, I'm never that surprised that they can be so thin. And every time my kid tries to do something on paper, I let them save paper, don't overspend on it. And now she doesn't even use it. By the way, the quality of the paper is not bad, but too smooth and too slippery. As for the ink, I don't think letting it dry quickly is a good idea. And if you touch it carelessly, you get a nice blurry spot.

The product description does not mention alcohol markers but is definitely NOT intended for use with markers like Copic. Very poor performance, and markers don't mix on this paper (not to mention they also bleed through sheets if you try to overlay paint). The paper is almost shiny. May be appropriate for black ink only, or a solid color that does not require bleeding or blending. I'm disappointed that I bought these specifically to use with alcohol markers and can't use them at all.

If you use alcohol based markers with this paper you may find that it still bleeds through the other side of the paper. Not the best marker paper I've seen and definitely doesn't mix very well with my Copic markers, but as a cheap alternative to more expensive paper it's fine if you're just looking for something to practice with. This would be great for kids just learning to draw and add color, but I wouldn't recommend it for professional art. The paper is too thin to be normal.

My daughter started attending an arts-focused high school last year and she always needs a refill. One of her favorites is highlighters and as they were special I had to buy these 2 packs for them. She was excited because manga-style characters are one of her favorite subjects. She filled one block and started another. She likes that the surface is smooth enough to blend colors easily. Notepad made of semi-gloss paper (similar to waxed paper). The metal sheets are thin, so that they show dents/kinks even with careful handling. An overlapping marker (regardless of brand) will appear hatched, so don't paint over it. The waxy satin finish doesn't run as advertised, but it does take a little longer to dry. I would not recommend this product to any artist or for temporary work. But because of the cheap price, I definitely recommend this paper for little kids who need a scribble…

The product arrived on time and was a very good product. Pencil is good for those of you who want to sketch in pencil first, but you may need a darker pencil. Everything was as expected, everything was as advertised etc. The only disappointing thing was that it was slightly damaged when it arrived. The front cover kept popping open with the binding, not all the way but halfway. It didn't really matter, but I wanted to leave the cover off to try and protect the paper a little more, so I just had
