Grey Water-soluble Graphite Pencils 2B & 6B by Art Graf - Set of 2 Per Card Review

maybe I just didn't buy them for the right application. I was hoping to use them to sketch my watercolor drawings so there are no pencil lines under my drawings. Unfortunately, although they melt well in water, the original line is still visible. They're very smooth and nice to the touch, so I've tried using them like drawing pencils, but they don't completely erase. that would be helpful for those who stick to sharp lines in their work, but unfortunately that's not me.

Love these pencils! I use them with watercolor and unless they're very strong they don't stain the paint. They are so smooth. I'll probably use them as long as I make art!

Compared to many other well-known companies such as Faber castell and Derwent, the ArtGraf series is superior in every respect. Dewrants are more like plastic toys than creative tools. And FC has lower quality graphite and is much harder, but they are also good enough to continue to be used. With ArtGraf you get real quality, quality you will see, feel and love.

These pencils are awesome! They are so much fun to paint with and then create a blur out of pigment. They are as smooth as they claim. My favorite because it's as dark as charcoal but feels silky when painted. I'm so glad I found these pencils and I think they're going to become a staple of my favorite art supplies. By using watercolors, they can add interest to a work of art. I can't wait to go back and experiment with them. Worth every penny!
