These are my favorite writing brushes! They flow beautifully, have amazing color and are easy to work with. They have a large tip so I have some trouble using them for small lettering, but they are perfect for large lettering and for a beginner like me.

Really good markers with some flex but not too much. Perfect for freehand beginners as you still get variations but don't need a super steady hand to create cool fonts. The only problem is that the ones I use the most wear out after about 6 months. I don't use them very often, so I guess it's not surprising, but if you plan on using the same color for a while, keep this in mind. However, they wear gracefully and can still be used with a little more control.

I bought them because I've seen videos of them online and thought that even if they're not good in real life, they're good cheap markers would be. Seen in videos about using these markers to create gradients and such, I found them easy to do with a very low learning curve. These marks are smudged. The colors are nothing special. I don't like advice. Honestly, I still prefer Tombow. But as a brush marker for beginners, this is a very good option.

I received these a few days ago and was so excited to try them! I've watched videos on Facebook and I don't usually believe in marketing, but that's exactly why I bought these markers. These are not what I would call brush tip markers. They are definitely not intended for handwriting or modern calligraphy, they are the same as regular markers but with a thinner/pointier tip. Definitely not worth anywhere near $20! I've seen people rave about them, so I'm wondering if I have the bootleg version that's becoming more common on Revain.
