I don't usually take the time to write reviews. However, they arrived today and I tried them right away. To my complete surprise, these brush pens write beautifully for calligraphy! I spent several weeks learning how to paint with a brush. I tried so many other popular brush pens that got great reviews and some of them were quite expensive, but I still couldn't get fine upward strokes. The impetus for me to buy them was a review that said they were perfect for beginners to paint with a brush. I thought why not. I bought all the other brush pens. These are really great brushes. Now I can make PERFECTLY thin strokes in the direction of my brush lettering. I'm excited! The downside to these pens is the outer shell. I have to admit that it's like holding a Lego as a pencil, which isn't very practical. I'm not deducting a star for that. I'm still incredibly impressed with the nibs and how they can create both very thin lines and wide, flat strokes. other felt tip brushes. Time will tell I think. I'm in seventh heaven with these pens at the moment. I have already added them to my cart to buy again. If you're struggling with the brush like I am, I highly recommend trying them out.
