My daughter wanted a leather sketchbook and was very happy with it. It was just as she expected.

I liked the size and look of this book, some pens tear it a little and markers like felt pens bleed through the pages but other than that it's a great book!

I'm pretty sure I ordered a black notepad and got such an ugly pink one. I won't be returning it, I'll just cover it with contact paper BUT it's not necessarily what I ordered. It seems to hold up watercolor well, which is what I intend it for. Paper dries pretty quickly, so you'll need to work quickly with watercolors.

I've been looking for something like this for several years. I like to draw, paint with watercolors and make collages in my journal. This one allows me to do all of that without bleeding through the other side! Finally! I tried Moleskins art magazines but the paper was too thin for my pencils and watercolors. It's well built and I'm so glad I chose it. Such good value for money.

UPDATE: 23 days into the new year with this sketchbook. At the moment this sketchbook is holding up complete, even with my mix media work that I've done. The watercolor in this book may hold, but be sure to let it dry if you're worried about it getting printed. The thickness of the paper is also suitable for drawing ^^ very happy with this purchase! I bought it to start the new year with "One sketch a day for 365 days" because I want to challenge myself. So far only satisfied with the purchase…
