ASA Rotating Plotter: Navigating 🗺️ Your Way with Precision and Efficiency Review

I just received the plotter and the quality is terrible, it looks like it has been used for years, it has scratches and marks even when it was in the original box. look old. I'm not happy with that. I can't send it back as I need it asap. but I am really disappointed with this product quality.

I've always appreciated the ease of use of a rotary plotter and the thickness of this ASA plotter makes it more flexible and less prone to breaking in half, but the accuracy the compass rose is a degree on either side of the dial. It may not matter much to some, but it plays a role in manual flight planning.

If you plan on using a plotter like this for extensive editing work in the next 20 years, I would recommend you to buy one of the good metal plotters instead. It's just plain plastic and will crack/break. after all. If, like me, you just need a plotter for teaching purposes and want to use ForeFlight for cross-country route planning after certification (just like the rest of the world), this is a good deal.
