Honest Great for tools and equipment

Tests fuel. It features an interchangeable Phillips/Slotted head screwdriver and is a must have for any good pilot. What else do you need?! Would buy again. and again. and again. (no 5 stars because it doesn't have a blue tooth)

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Almost OK

Bitch: Tools and Equipment

The little pin that is supposed to open the sampling valve is too weak and will bend when trying to sample fuel. Not worth the money or time to order. Don't worry, use a standard mug with a metal pin. I intend to return this item.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Quality

It is what it is - diagnostic, testing and measuring tools

The pan pin is a bit flimsy but it does what it's supposed to do (the pan springs on my 172 are stiff). The small size isn't a problem, you get more than enough fuel for a water pollution test and it doesn't take up space in the glove box. On a single seater Cessna you really have to watch out for the gas generator for range, but it works. Recommend.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Almost never

Good with one design flaw

The design of the tester is great except for the plastic rod used to push through the test holes. The plastic is very brittle and can no longer be pushed through the test opening after approx. 5 flights. It pushes sideways and the fuel hits your hands. Aside from the flimsy plastic shaft construction, the tester is the perfect size to fit in my flight bag and the rest of the tool appears to be of very solid construction and materials. I can drill out a stick and make a metal stick instead.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks
