Just tried wearing this over the Christmas weekend and the mount doesn't fit. Luckily Crutchfield sent them to me along with the speakers I bought.

Speaker adapters fit perfectly. The factory wiring harness adapter fitted the car well, but the fins that connected to the speakers were too small and had to be widened with a screwdriver. Delivery was quick. They fit my Jetta p1.

Adapters and wiring harnesses appear to be of good build quality. None of the parts fit my 2015 VW Jetta with Fender stereo. The speaker adapters are too thick, the wiring harness adapter keys are wrong and will not connect.

will NOT fit the 6.75 speaker basket even if it is fully cut. requires a lot of trimming to fit the door panel properly. You need your own sealant from the plastic to the door. The speaker harness works fine, but the wire is very thin.

Great product overall! At first I thought they wouldn't fit my Skar Audio 6.5 speaker, but they actually fit a 6.5 speaker! Just make sure they are attached properly to get the best sound out of your speaker! The door panel fits them as an OEM so I'd say go for it!

So glad I have these adapters compared to other Revain adapters that are compatible. They worked great on my 2003 GTI (2-door) with factory Monsoon speakers. The adapters work well for 6.5 inch speakers both front and rear. The only problem was that the cable adapters for my machine were wired incorrectly so I had to swap plus and minus. Luckily I had depinning tools, but that would be a problem for those who didn't have one.

I tried to use them on a 2015 Jetta. They were easy to assemble and installation was easy until I tried to reattach the door panel. After some trial and error and even modifications, I found that they are too thick for the Jetta mk6 door panels, their height is almost 1/8 inch. The wire adapters worked great, that's one positive thing I have to say about this product. Maybe an earlier Volkswagen model will work. maybe not. If you have a 2012 Jetta or newer they will not work. I hope they change

Purchased to replace the stock speakers in the car. The cable and connectors were ok, no problems, but the plastic ring is too big for the door panel (front, back not tried yet). After I installed the ring, the panel would not turn on. so I had to install speakers without a ring. I used a 25w Pioneer two-way speaker so it went in with no issues with the glass being behind the speaker opening when fully folded. If you're sticking with an OEM head unit like me, try to stick with 20-25w speakers…
