The picture says it all. He never moves again. He ignores his special yak treat. I will post again if I run into any problems. He immediately jumped in. The foam base will stretch slightly after unpacking. I did it the day before. Big is big enough. He weighs 70 pounds. Update: It's been almost a month. He loves this bed so much. Our Great Pyrenees stole it from him one night. She had never attended to his bed before. So I buy her a second one.

I thought this would make a great bed for my dog. Unfortunately, it doesn't hold its shape. The area(s) of the roller will not stay on the foam and then somehow fall to the ground. If you have a dog that doesn't use head/neck/shoulder rolls, just sleeps in a flat center. then it will probably work. Finally not waterproof at all. The cat peed on him and he went in foam. Cannot eliminate cat pee foam. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY. :(Great idea, but poor execution. Too bad.

The photo is misleading. Mine arrived in a tight (TUFF!) roll with two zips to tighten its shape, presumably to save on shipping. I tried for several days to get the bed back to the intended shape and size but to no avail. I've tried redistributing the roll fill but it lacks shape and shape and doesn't look like the photo. The measurements described as "Sleeper Pillow Internal Dimensions: 26" x 16" are inaccurate, see my photos. 22" x 13" would be much more accurate and if I knew I would look…

Update 020421 Good, just washed again, holds up well. But he was pretty exhausted. I finally put another pad in the top tube (cut it in half) and it looks like it can hold up now. Update 082119 - Good. The pillow doesn't have enough filling to prevent it from turning into a fluffy round pancake on the floor. Fortunately, the inner tube of the pillow can also be opened. I worked up the existing fluff (not that hard, it's loosely packed), then took an old bed pillow that I cut in half lengthwise…

This is a great bed for an older dog. The base is so comfortable I want to sleep in it. It took several days for the bed to "inflate" and eliminate the foam smell. My dog refused to sleep in it for about 10 days, approached it, sniffed it and left. In the end I cleared the "old" bed out of the room and the dog had no choice but to use the new bed or the new floor - horror! So he gave in and went to a new bed for the night.
