Easy installation, 3M tape holds perfectly. No need to drill into backsplash tile or wall, magnets are very strong and hold multiple knives with no issue.

Just purchased this to hold my new knives and it looks lovely! I loved how the box itself include a guide template to make the install easy, no second guessing on where to put the anchors and screws to support it. The adhesive strip was also awesome considering my other magnet strip for knives didn't come with an adhesive strip on the back for more security that it won't fall. I feel much better about using this guy to hold my new damascus knives than my older magnet strip.

If you have fine cutlery you want to show off I can't think of a better method; the magnets here will hold them very firmly but keep them close to hand while working in the kitchen. The holder is attractive on it's own as well with a fine woodgrain finish. The holder is mounted on the wall by two screws that should install easily but screw heads are not visible on the surface to distract from the knife display.

I needed to free up counterspace in my small kitchen so I was thinking of an alternative to the large wooden knife block sitting on the counter. This magnetic wall mount was the perfect solution. Summary: The first magnet knife holders I put in our kitchen were metal/plastic, and after a time, I realized that the wood ones are much nicer.Observations: This one is made of very nice Acacia. The face plate is about 1/16" thick, and the method used to enclose the magnets (vs. going from the back).Pros: 1) Very nice wood; 2) multiple mounting options (screw, tape), both included; 3) sufficient magnet strength for most knifes.Cons: None.Conclusion: 5-stars, these are well made!

These magnetic knife strips (we got a couple) are beautiful in their wood tones and finish. They are easy to install and hold the knives well. The knives stay put and don't slip but are easy to remove and release well when I want to use it. It arrives in a nice box to protect it in transit as well as a cover to protect its finish and flawless look.

I really like the minimalist look of it and love the inclusion of the mounting template that made installing this a breeze. I taped my level to the template to help make sure it wasn't crooked.I like that it includes two mounting options. I went with the screw mounting option and it has a bit of wiggle back and forth when removing knives, will probably put a small piece of mounting tape behind it for stabilization.

After buying new knives I realized I didn't have room on my counter for ANOTHER butcher block and decided to try this option. Very happy with strength of magnets, they're almost too strong! I did put a small nick in it trying to take the end knife off (it IS wood, after all). The trick is to roll the knife towards the top edge, not towards the sharp edge! I'd been wanting something just like this to adhere to my granite back splash, over my stove, so not using my precious counterspace ! This is it. It looks like wood, but it's magnetized on one side. And you have the option to drill holes into your wall to attach, or use the included thick foam double stick tape to adhere to your surface. Which is what I'm doing. And the knife blades hold very well to the magnet side.

We recently decided to reclaim counterspace from out knife block. Our kitchen has many shades of brown and related colors. This acacia knife holder was one of our choices because of it’s dark stain and subtle grain. It was quite easy to install in a few minutes, with screws, adhesive, or both. I started with screws, and will add the adhesive when i decide if the location I have chosen is permanent. It is nicely made, evenly shaped, and evenly stained.

I don't have any wall space in my kitchen so I had to mount this lengthwise on the side of a cabinet. I used the sticky tape method. It has been up for about a month and still holding. It literally took 5 seconds to mount. The magnets are plenty strong and even my heaviest knife stays in place.

Looks very nice. Perfect for space saving in your kitchen. Magnet is very strong. You do need to put screws in, adhesion strip will not hold up your knives.

I found this very easy to install and my knives from heavy to light stick to it exactly how I would want. I chose the 18” because my chef and santoku knives needed the room. I’m quite happy with it.

The mounting slots on the back are a full 5mm off as shown in the photos. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 was for the strength of the magnet, which is pretty decent as it turns out and that makes this kind of suck even more because it would have been a great addition to the kitchen.

Very easy to put up! And has been a lifesaver for my knives, as well as keep them organized and out of reach of kids. Magnet holds well installation was easy. Veneer seems pretty thin, and I doubt it will hold up over time.

I got this as a gift for my spouse to hold his fancy knives. It holds all of them without any issues.Funny story this adhered so well we can’t get it off of the wall in our apartment now that we are moving.

It looks great. Works fine. one of my chef knives doesn't hold as tightly, so that's that. But installing the template it comes with is off. What I did was punch holes in it where the holes actually were in the strip.
