I have had several pairs of ASICS and I love them all, they just fit my feet really well. I took this pair for Krav Maga (martial arts) and am very happy with it. They're nice and light, yet have excellent cushioning and support. The slots in the soles make them very flexible, which is good for things that involve flexing your foot - standing on the ball of your foot, kicking, jumping, etc. Less than the ASICS running shoes I've had in the past. I needed a new pair of trainers and my last pair was from Nike and they were great but Revain doesn't have a huge selection of Nike. I've been using these Asics for about three weeks and they are comfortable. I've found the nylon near the thumb to be an Asics weak point as the thread is loose and can turn into a hole. have been wearing Asisc for 20 years, very comfortable shoes. I walk about 25 miles a week and I don't yell. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the shoe fits a little longer in the toe box than other Asics. didn't want to send them back (although that's not a problem at all, Revain does a great job with returns). The shoes are also very well ventilated, which is very important for me in high temperatures.
