ASICS Gel Contend Running Shoes for Girls - Illusion Lemon Review

One of my chiropractors recommended ASICS for my back arthritis and I have since been sold. I shop in children's sizes and am very happy with the huge selection that Walmart has to offer.

These shoes are a good choice. But we recognized a problem. My daughter loves to walk in puddles and the bright colors make them dirty very quickly. But if you only need sports shoes, this is a good choice! They are super comfy! Her socks were intermittently soiled when we received them, but that's to be expected with new shoes! Later it came in the laundry like lightning.

Fits my daughter well. We bought an extra 1/2 size bigger so they last a year - kids feet grow fast. This brand is the only one my daughter loves after we found that she is pronating and needs arch support. We find these sneakers every day on Amazon. time at a good price

Initially, the photo showed that they were Velcro. Disturbance. In addition, they are excellent shoes, durable, well finished, at a good price, the bottom is not cheap foam that wears out in 4 weeks. However, it is flexible but not rigid. But. These are shoes with laces. Not velcro

The threads on the side were loose/pulled when I received them. Also, the insides looked like they were worn. The Asics logo is peeling off inside!

I bought this for my daughter to use during cross country season and she loves it. I've been told it's very comfortable and I love that it has so many color options. It came quickly too!

We just ordered these and were disappointed that they don't have velcro! We were looking for shoes with velcro for my second grader (he can tie shoelaces, but velcro is faster!). I think we'll buy elastic laces or something like that!

My daughter loves the color, style and fit of these shoes. This is her second pair. After trying other brands and styles, we keep coming back to them. She uses them during track training when she doesn't want to wear spikes.

We struggled to find these shoes in stores. They didn't match in size or color. Well well 'Walmart! We found them and they fit great.

I bought these because my autistic son could benefit from a velcro strap on top for PE. It looks like these shoes only fit a certain lace size (we're a size 6, big kids (9 years old)). That being said, the shoes appear to be of good quality and comfortable.

I have a good business so I just order the elastic laces. but my 7 year old NEVER ties his shoelaces. He'd rather let go of his shoelaces than tie them, and he knows how to tie them. So I just wanted to go back to the velcro but of course I got the lacing. A little disappointed in that. But the shoes themselves are great.

My son is 9 years old and I buy him these shoes my whole life. Great pair of shoes with long tread and very comfortable. My son is bad at shoes and these are the best.

They do not have velcro as advertised. That's why I ordered them. My kid loves them so we're keeping them and I'm buying lockable laces to get through.

Great shoes for my daughter but the only complaint I could have is to say that the company that sells these shoes should be honest and tell people before they buy the shoes that they don't have velcro. These are standard laces.

The shoes shown in the picture have an upper strap with Velcro. The shoes I received were fully laced and had no velcro. The photos in the product ad need to be corrected.

I ordered them from 3.5 Big Kid. The picture is not accurate. They were just laced up. Pictures must be accurate and have a specific description so that they can be better organized for children with special needs. They also run small.

As in the picture, nice shoes, very light. My son has very flat feet and his ankles are sagging so he needs a lot of heel support. Asic is by far the best support and they look very good.

My child has finally learned to tie his shoelaces and is no longer intimidated by that shiny pair of shoes. He seems very comfortable now and has been wearing them every day since he put them on!
