Good shoes, more room than expected

I recently bought 2 different pairs of Asics, have been wearing them almost exclusively for about 4 years + now I have about 6 pairs, all cost 11.5 U.S. dollar. It took me a while to get used to my orthotics and the support they have, but they have helped me tremendously with my issues. I love these shoes but this pair seems to have more room than my others. I don't run anymore if it were possible. be an issue as I would have preferred a tighter fit but for walking I like the comfort and extra…

Pros
  • GEL technology - cushioning provides excellent cushioning
Cons
  • Long wait

Comfortable Speed Walking Shoes

I bought it for fast walking as my knees no longer allow me to walk much. I found these shoes very comfortable and true to size. They are lightweight and protect my feet without feeling bulky or interfering with my stride. I haven't had them long enough to know how long they last, but now I only use them for training.

Pros
  • 3D SPACE CONSTRUCTION Gender Responsive - Allows for different levels of landing compression based on gender.
Cons
  • I will write later

Wide Foot Road Running

I've been wearing these shoes for several years as they come in WIDE (2E). Excellent comfort and fit for the feet. I'm a pretty serious runner and often torment this shoe on hills and rough roads. My shoes last four to six months and are still in great condition when I buy a new pair. I'm sure I could use them for many more months, but I'm a fanatic when it comes to protecting my old knees and feet. I usually walk. 25 to 35 miles per week.

Pros
  • Reflective elements improve visibility in low light conditions -
Cons
  • Legacy

Big improvement over previous versions

I am a big fan of Asics running shoes and have run in previous versions of the Cumulus. The last version of this shoe I wore was the Cumulus 21. Compared to this shoe, the Cumulus 23 is noticeably softer underfoot while maintaining good stability. I would even say that this shoe is softer than my Kayano 26. I also like the upper part of this version of the shoe, it fits better. Asics ditched the Cumulus 21 plastic overlays and instead placed the structural elements of the upper between layers…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Very comfortable from the start, lightweight but not too soft

I suffer from plantar fasciitis and am always looking for comfortable (but not too soft) shoes with decent arch support (but not too much). A bit like Goldilocks looking for "just right”. I'm a "senior" hiker (late 50's, 180 lbs), about 2 miles a day most days and jog occasionally. My running days are over. I'm hesitating between Brooks (usually the beast) and Asics (one of the gels). I've had them for a little over a week, replacing my last pair of Beasts. In general, I'm very happy with…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
