Durable shoes - my new test report

These are my husband's favorite shoes. He needs a stabilizing shoe and Tri 11 provides it. However, newer versions of this shoe are neutral. Lightweight and durable, this shoe dries quickly when wet. He wears them hiking and mountain biking, and they stand up to whatever he throws at them.

    Pros
    • fits right from the start
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for those with foot problems

good to go in my opinion

As an overpronator, it's not easy to find comfortable running shoes at an affordable price. Far exceeded expectations. Behind the goal felt great. No problem.

    Pros
    • Looks great and feels good
    Cons
    • Can't be durable

Worst Asics I Bought (+40 Pairs)

I am a regular Asics customer but this particular product was causing me pain and discomfort every time I used it, I couldn't just use it like that. And bought them on the trip I had couldn't send them back it was totally my loss. I was able to fully compensate for the lack of quality of the sole, the lack of cushioning, I actually hurt myself after trying them the second time.

    Pros
    • Amazing sneakers! I will buy again.
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for those who prefer minimal footwear.

Fits perfectly best in my rating

Perfect fit and very comfortable. I find ASICS robust and durable. The all black color allows me to wear them for a long time and they still look relatively good.

    Pros
    • Good fit, good quality, very comfortable...everything I expected. The color is definitely POPS!
    Cons
    • Difficult to clean

    Love it! In my opinion

Great pair of running shoes I've ever had and they fit me perfectly (my feet aren't too wide by the way). Great shock absorber feel during my race. However when I bought them I thought I got a good bargain here only to find there was an even bigger discount on the ASICS website back then. So check the price first.

    Pros
    • Great fit, very comfortable shoes for walking.
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for those running in the dark

    Always count on Oasics

I was looking for a great pair of shoes for trail and road, walking or running. Seems like the right pair, at least to me. The only thing that I think could be improved is a little more padding. There is a pillow, but I've had better in other oases. Wondering if this is the case, I ordered a second pair of Oasics in a different style. They actually have the full pillow I want, but they fit differently. I think I ended up with two pairs of shoes, both of which I would rate 9 out of 10. The only…

    Pros
    • Beautiful looks, feels great
    Cons
    • May not provide enough traction

    The most comfortable shoes

My husband loves these colorful shoes as he is a track and field coach. He swears these shoes have to be the most comfortable shoes he's ever worn.

    Pros
    • I love the elastic laces. Shoes shrink after 20-30 hours of use. I wear them casually.
    Cons
    • For the small and tough

    Revainrating 1 out of 5

Shit for the size in my review

Didn't even get close to me. said the 10 1/2 on the bit of the box was probably 8. . Came back and still haven't heard anything.

    Pros
    • Comfortable.
    Cons
    • things and too tight

Great sports shoes! in my opinion

This is my third pair of Gel-Noosa Tri shoes. I like the looks and the comfort. Great everyday training shoe, but I wouldn't recommend it for long runs, the outsole isn't made for that. If you're looking for a great all-round athletic shoe, then you've come to the right place. If you're looking for specialized running shoes that can cover long distances, look elsewhere.

    Pros
    • Great shoes, comfortable, durable, I go to triathlon shoes.
    Cons
    • Might not fit right

    Much smaller than other Asics.

I've worn Asics for many years, always a size 13. I put them on and they were so small I doubt a full size would have worked. Hands down the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn. I would take at least a full size and make sure they have free return should you need them. Nice looking pair of shoes with interesting running gear but ridiculously small.

    Pros
    • Excellent Zapatos, ya llevo 165 km Corridos con ellos y ni una queja hasta el momento, excellent price !!
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for all weather conditions

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

    Absolutely NOT true to size.

Unfortunately I'm not in the return window the day I finally put them on. I am a longtime ASICS customer and I know my size. They don't fit the size.

    Pros
    • a very good quality
    Cons
    • May not provide sufficient stability

    Surprisingly good for flat feet

My job requires a lot of walking almost every day. I have been using Asics as a running shoe for many years, specifically the GT line and the Keyano line. I was skeptical knowing the lines above are great for overpronation. Not only are they great for overpronation, they are the most comfortable running shoes I've ever worn. Asics continues their line of great shoes for flat feet.

    Pros
    • Sneakers are durable. I'm a tall guy and need the arch support that these ASICS provide.
    Cons
    • Expensive

Good running shoes suitable for me

So far I've only worn them on the treadmill. So far no problems with shoes. They're a little tight for my liking, but not uncomfortable. Breathability is very good in the toe area, less so in the healing area. This is my observation when wearing them without socks. There are no blisters or hot spots to report here. The selling price is hard to beat.

    Pros
    • This is my second pair; 'Enough said!
    Cons
    • Good shoes, not too heavy. Box with a narrow toe. I've run about 30 miles in them and so far I like them.

I really wish women's shoes were the same colors as men's shoes. Not all women like very girly colors and styles, some of us prefer a more neutral and minimal style. I'm RN Tried it, others keep coming back to Asics. You can't beat the price as long as they hold you and I've never had 15 years of a pair break or wear out. I wear a women's 10.5 or 11 and bought a men's 9.5 and I have about an inch left on the end which is good for me, it's not a wide shoe either. I have big feet and don't wear…

    Pros
    • They are a bit narrow compared to several other Asics shoes I've bought.
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for competitive racing

    Revainrating 2 out of 5

    Smaller than usual with Asics

I've been buying ASICS for many years now and expect them to fit better than any other running shoe brand. This pair is slimmer than any others I've had. I have a regular, medium width, but this pair is snug and fits more like a B or C size.

    Pros
    • Very comfortable shoes. Good for hiking. The design is really unusual but very cool.
    Cons
    • Possibly not breathable enough

    Planned for outdoor basketball

I planned to use this shoe for outdoor basketball. But gosh, this shoe looks too pretty, so now I'm using it for work. Great service and product.

    Pros
    • Excellent service and product
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for people with flat feet

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not him ASICS from the past

Not the quality I expected from ASICS. Very plastic, feels cheap. I used to love ASICS. I'll look for new shoes. I noticed that they irritated the back of my heel and blistered. I've never had this before. I went on sale, that's really all I can say. I'm not really a long-distance runner, but I run 3 miles every other day when I'm not training.

    Pros
    • Light and comfortable. It also looks very beautiful.
    Cons
    • Might need a hack

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    These are great racing shoes.

My favorite running shoe is the ASICSGT 1000. Or the Essex Shell Cuyana series. Admittedly I bought these shoes because they were cheaper and they fitted my size, a size 13. I wear a 12 1/2 and a size 13 fits me very well. This is not a training shoe, I would recommend you use it for racing as it is very light and doesn't have the long lasting cushioning of a training shoe.

    Pros
    • Slightly stronger than I expected and takes a little longer to break.
    Cons
    • Can be uncomfortable on long runs.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Be sure to increase the extra half size

I bought these as a gift after reading some reviews. I took a chance and got an extra half size and they fit perfectly. The shoes also glow for night runs when charged with enough sunlight.

    Pros
    • Tight, comfortable fit. simply. Feels great after daily walks.
    Cons
    • Cannot provide adequate support

    Revainrating 1 out of 5

These are too small for me.

I own and have had many Asics running shoes over the years and have loved the style and price. Out of the box they looked narrower than my Cumulus, Nimbus and Kayano, but when I tried them on they were snug. in width, and there was almost no space in the toe area. Because they were so snug I couldn't even wear them as casual shoes so I sent them back.

    Pros
    • You are narrower than my Nimbus. But once you get used to it, it's not a problem. They're definitely lighter.
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for all types of terrain
