The delivery was great and the shoes fit perfectly. My son has wide feet and it's hard to find wrestling shoes that don't pinch his toes. I would recommend this shoe to anyone who needs a wide foot.
Pros
The wrestling boots were delivered on time. They fit as described. I would buy from here again if I needed more items.
The shoes were advertised as "wide". It even says "wide" on the packaging. However, when I opened the box, the shoes were normal, not wide. It didn't fit at all. Don't waste money.
I ordered these shoes for my 14 year old son who wears a size 14. These shoes took a little longer to put on compared to regular tennis shoes, but they should be snug and snug. The laces are adjustable so he can loosen them to slip his foot in and then tighten them for the perfect fit. The wide width was too narrow for his foot and we were surprised that the shoe itself wasn't very flexible. Also, they turned out to be heavier than we expected. We ordered a pair of Nike Speedsweep Vii men's…
Pros
Good quality shoes delivered on time. Wrestlers overuse these things, but Asics really sticks to it.
I use them for boxing. I wanted a wider shoe that would allow my feet to move more naturally because tight shoes need to be much longer. This shoe does what I need.
Very well made, I use them for training at the gym. Very supportive for the ankles when working with the feet. They are also good for cycling as the bottom is flat and made out of rubber which is easy to keep on the pedals.
I train in JKD and Kali. Punching, takedowns, jiu-jitsu are used in both martial arts studies. These shoes are amazing. Good traction, easy to manoeuvre, very comfortable, doesn't scratch the mats. I would recommend it to anyone who trains on mats.
Pros
Excellent cushioning for protection during gameplay
I'll admit that I'm not a wrestler and bought them more as casual sneakers, partly because I think the style looks hell. I have many friends who run and swear by ASICS. I've always stayed away from this brand because I don't like their design. Really, why bother with words? You are seriously fugitive. I would grab the designers by the ears and get them out of the building because they have Homer Simpson's sense of aesthetics. Design is extremely important to me, and if the form or function…
Pros
These Asics wrestling shoes are the best, I just love them. They cost money for stylish looking shoes
This was the ONLY pair of wrestling shoes in the WORLD I could find - I've scoured the internet and checked all the stores around town - the shoe itself is good but the width still isn't wide enough - my son uses them but after a week of wearing them I can say he will tear them on the sides before the end of the season. The length of the shoe is just right and visually it's a good shoe - the width is the biggest issue and it was very expensive.
They're great for lifting weights when I'm working on my legs. Ideal for any exercise that requires your feet to stay in place when lifting weights, like squats and deadlifts. The gum is sticky, durable and flat. My only potential issue with them is heel to ball of foot spacing. There doesn't seem to be any rubber in this area. That wasn't a problem, but it touches.
My son has a flintstone foot and we can't find wide ring shoes in our stores. When my son tried them on he said they were a little big but his foot was very comfortable. The rubber outsole that sticks out of the side of the shoe is also a plus for better traction on the mat. Definitely going to be a regular customer, maybe for football too.
If you need a flat MMA sole with some grip, this is your best choice. I tried three different brands of wrestling/MMA shoes before I found these. They are not bulky unlike many others, they conform to your feet and ankles. I wear a mens size 10.5 and bought these in a 10.5, they fit great. My feet are actually a size 10, but I always buy half a size bigger to be more comfortable.
I ordered these a few months ago after realizing I couldn't train barefoot like I did as a teenager had and 20s. These shoes give me the ankle support I need to prevent hamstrings during plyometric training and martial arts, and also give me the mobility I need for heavy bagging and shadow boxing. I train on a 2 inch gym mat because I have joint problems and sometimes when I'm just warming up and the mat is dry I find the sole sticks a little but when the mat gets slippery from sweat that's it…
My son has very wide feet. Although these shoes are quite snug on his feet, it would be torture for him to put his feet in normal size wrestling shoes. My son claims the shoes are comfortable and likes the split sole. The shoes also appear to be durable. He gives these shoes a thumbs up.
My son is a big child with wide feet. For some reason wide wrestling shoes are practically non-existent. These are the cheapest prices I've found. The size is right. He wears a 10 1/2 and we have a 10 1/2 and it fits great. They are a bit stiff at first but will soften over time. Say they are very comfortable.
