Not waterproof

Installed today, then washed our truck and found water in it while drying. They look very nice but not high quality. When delivered, both sides were frayed at the edges. I was willing to endure it, but not with the ingress of water.

Will not fit 2001 Silverado

The assembly fits but the lamp bracket cut outs were wrong for my son's 2001 Silverado 1500. Should have read the reviews as I'm not the only one with this problem. Also because the plastic felt terribly brittle and the seals didn't look like they would keep water out. Too bad because they looked pretty cool.

Good economical replacement

Used truck, used to have fender creases. The left tail light was attached with tape. There is also paint and drywall compound. Replaced by this. Delivered early, fits well, nice finish. The only limitation, which others have also mentioned, is that one bulb on each side is not firmly seated in the socket. They won't fall out, and it wasn't the right socket, so it's a little puzzling. A thicker rubber washer and piece of tape hold them in place, so perfectly happy except for one issue.
