Reliable - simply good for tools and equipment

Have used this device for many years. Now it works just as well as the first time. Easy to use. Just follow the instructions. The clamps have adapters for side mounting batteries. 800-949-1472 to ask MFG questions

Cons

These are good devices, I have three tests

These are good devices, I have three of them. BUT the switch is underrated and pure quality. You will change them frequently if you use the tester frequently. Associated should install higher rated, quality switches in all devices like this.

Pros
  • with a full load of 125 amps; Batteries 6 and 12 volts, alternators and starters for all types of cars
Cons
  • -

Simple and efficient

I'm not a mechanic but I have 8 cars and do quite a bit of mechanical work. As such, battery and charging issues become something I sometimes encounter. Frequently. Very, very often. This quickly leads to DC voltage and capacitance (load) tests as well as charging the generator. I'm older, so personally I prefer the analog display. I'm sure there are much better devices out there, but for the money and simplicity, this works great for me.

Pros
  • One hand operation
Cons
  • Big and bulky
