Not suitable for prototyping

I bought this kit for breadboard prototyping because the product description said "schematic, breadboards and arduino". While they may be fine for a Vero board or other thin breadboard, the pins are too short to work with an 820 hole breadboard like https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EV6LJ7G (or even make contact with him). / Ref.=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . Look for another brand if you want to use this one.

Some parts are not compatible with breadboard

Single switches have short thin leads that don't stay on the breadboard. All other sizes have longer, stiffer wires and work well. I've attached a photo of a single switch next to a double switch. The little box they come in is disorganized. It comes with 9 compartments, but some compartments do not fit all circuit breakers of the same size, so the breakers are either placed in other compartments or in the 9th compartment, which contains one of three different sizes.

Very practical switch set

I ordered two sets of DIP switches because I find them very inexpensive. I received 5 switches listed in the product description in each package. The item is packaged exactly as shown on the description page. I kept mine in a set of labeled storage boxes for easy use around my shop, but the storage case that the switches come with is very economical and ideal for a small workspace.
