After the previous RS-35A was one of the victims of a lightning strike at home I chose this one as the unit is reliable and I've never had any problems.

Meets specifications. Excellent unswitched power supply for 13.8 volts to 25 amps. My SDR sees no noise from this linear power supply block. The weight can be explained by a powerful transformer. When I press the transmit button on my 50 watt UHF transmitter, the voltage does not drop.

This 35Amp linear power supply from Astron is one of the best power supplies available for a 100 watt conventional ham radio transceiver. I've had two $100+ Chinese Switch accessories die in the past few years. Thankfully without destroying my $4,000+ radio gear.
