This 35Amp linear power supply from Astron is one of the best power supplies available for a 100 watt conventional ham radio transceiver. I've had two $100+ Chinese Switch accessories die in the past few years. Thankfully without destroying my $4,000+ radio gear. I figured I'd just cut my losses and go with a proven design, low RFI, American made, repairable if needed. Came like in the photo (no tag "do not turn off" :)). Robust, heavy, bulky, I like it. I was planning on opening mine and setting the voltage to 14.0 volts, it was already set to 14 volts. :) Decades ago I designed linear mode power supplies for use in military projects. It was with the schematic and I was happy to see that nothing had changed in terms of design down to the components. A good example is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." Chinese inexpensive switching power supplies around the world are distinguished by their reliability, technical characteristics and design. My own opinion. Enjoy de K6WGX, 73 years old
