Amazing panel. Terrible OSD.

This monitor has one of the most beautiful panels I have ever seen. I've used dozens of monitors in my adult life. This is the cheapest monitor I have ever bought. I use my monitors for graphic design work, photography and gaming. Out of the box, this is the best screen I've seen. It's bright, clear and bright. Colors are accurate to my eye even without calibration. It was nice to go to my office and see this thing in action. It sat next to my Asus Ultrawide IPS (which cost 4x as much) and…

Great monitor: my review

I'm a photographer and I've finally decided to invest a little in a better monitor. I used to only edit on the screen of a 2018 15-inch MacBook Pro. The first day I owned it, I was scrolling through my photos and found some bad edits under my images. They just weren't visible on the small screen. It's amazing how much that has changed. I will say this, there are a few dead pixels in the top left corner of my display. But I had to hunt to find her. They do not affect my use of the monitor in any

No budget monitor

It doesn't feel like a budget monitor at all, as a high school student I did a lot of things with this monitor and had no issues other than some glare (which can easily be remedied by adjusting the screen a bit).

The best 100% sRGB monitor I've ever tried

I tried the BenQ SW240 which is overkill for sRGB (it's for Adobe RGB and P3) and also tried the ViewSonic VP2768. I would arrange them. Asus ProArt2. ViewSonic VP27683. Everything BenQ Why? Well, the ASUS Pro Art had an excellent factory calibration right out of the box. All Delta-E values are below 1.0, averaging 0.32. Compared to the ViewSonic VP2768, where most grays and a few reds were over 3, one over 4, averaging 1.42, this monitor costs $30 more. So ASUS is the clear winner here. At…

The picture quality is excellent.

I bought two of these for my workstation and couldn't be happier (I don't game). It's more than "great value for money" - it's simply "great image quality. Some concerns about backlight leakage after reading some reviews. As far as I can tell, this is probably only an issue if you're shooting video in a dark room. Even with a dim lightbulb or a little moonlight shining on the back of my blinds, blacks still appear black. I program (mostly vim on the command line), write (like text) and make…
