Works great for a small problem.

I'll start with a small problem because I'm sure that's what everyone wants to know. It comes with a small USB extension cable. I am using Win7x64 on an Asus M3A78-T motherboard. After installing the Asus device management tools (it's an amazing set of tools) and the device using the dongle, my computer froze in my sleep. After uninstalling the device and drivers, then just installing and using Windows Wireless Network Management, and then doing the same without the dongle, I found that using…

Wifi adapter Asus n13!

This item was purchased with Revain Prime. I received "used" ("like new") in the original packaging and almost untouched. It happened as expected. To be honest, it started for me in about 5-10 minutes. I have Mac OSX Leopard and Windows 7 dual boot on my PC. It was not possible to install regular drivers for Windows 7. Over 20+ years of installing and using consumer networking equipment, it has become a common rule of thumb that the installer and driver on the product CD are generally out of date. Downloading the latest drivers and utilities from the company's website is usually safer…

Reliable and fast connections for G and N bands

I bought this wireless adapter to connect to a Western Digital TV Live Plus media streamer. It immediately connected with a signal strength of 96% (as evidenced by the built-in WD signal strength indicator). My wireless router is in a room and two walls about 12-14 feet away, so I was expecting a strong signal, but not quite 96%. I can stream 8GB 1080p .MKV BlueRay rips from my DNS-321 NAS with no hiccups, which I couldn't do with the old Linksys adapter I used before. I still have one of those
