The Vivobook 15 is often compared and contrasted to the Acer Aspire 5. In my opinion, the Vivobook is a much better choice! The Aspire looks good and performs decently, and the screen is great for the price. But inside it feels very cheap as the battery is not attached at all. And the RAM expansion slot in what I got didn't work and Acer tech support was utterly useless. I returned it. This laptop has everything I need. It's fast, very light and perfect for the average user. The only minor complaint I have is that the light on the caps lock key is so dim I can barely see it. Highly recommended! (Asus extends my warranty by 3 months).

The paper specs for this laptop were great but it was clear that some corners were cut off and features were missing, I think the price is so low. My WiFi signal was very weak in places where I had no problems with other devices. USB charging does not exceed 500mA. It doesn't charge your devices while you use them. Hardly. This was a feature on my last Acer that I didn't realize I needed.

It's nice to have a computer that responds quickly when someone is talking to it! The screen size is exactly what I wanted. I like the keyboard layout. I also like the curved fork. Easy to set up and ready to use.

It arrived at my house on March 12th. Looks good and I'm glad I have it. A few days after discovering issues with the caps lock key getting stuck and stuck in the hole, I sometimes had to pry it up with my fingernail (the sound when pressed is totally different on others), the day after I can't use my fingerprint to access it. I love my new computer I'm having a problem with games crashing in Google Chrome. You must completely turn off and restart the computer for it to work for a few minutes. Probably a problem with Chrome. Hope they find out. My old laptop which is basically falling apart never had/still doesn't have this issue so I'm frustrated having to deal with it on a new laptop. Love the backlit keyboard.
