I use this as a family ski bag. So far, so good. It's really quite big and the divider helps to keep hats, gloves etc in one place. Appears to be well built. I assume that he can last a long time with light coats.

The bag is a great size for me and will fit a tall, burly, older skater's gear. I like the whole grid that lets the pot through after play. I wish the inner skate pocket stayed upright and "shaped" a little better, but that's just a minor complaint.

I really like this bag for the price. It's huge, has plenty of storage options, and the side slits are money. The only thing that worries me is that the top of the bag also has ventilation, and while it's great in theory, if it rains or snows while you're carrying your bag, your gear will get wet. In short, they went a little overboard with the vents.

I love this hockey outfit for my son. It's overkill for what we need (wish they were a junior size) but the extra space is better than not enough. Good ventilation helps keep everything dry. We can arrange things in the order in which he dresses and undresses: a cart in the middle with skates and gloves; pads and pants go to the side; Helmet, jerseys and socks (in two packing cubes) come from the other side. As mentioned in other reviews I was a bit skeptical about the quality of this bag. However, when the bag was delivered, I was pleasantly surprised. The stitching appears to be good and the quality is excellent. I was able to fit all my hockey gear in the bag and that says a lot. I'm 6ft 5" so all my gear is bigger than most but this does a great job of protecting it and the vents on the top of the bag seem to help the gear dry and breathe. I'm a hockey coach and player and I can honestly tell you this is one of the best "budget" bags I know. Honestly this is one of the best bags I know. It's been solid so far after using it for a couple of months, tossing it in and out of the trunk and throwing other bags at it. No frayed or broken zippers.
