Within a month they fall apart (low wear resistance), the straps are different lengths and things between the straps and the soles don't quite match (no noticeable difference in comfort). I think you get what you get for $20.

I haven't used them for hiking or anything else but my husband and I ordered them for our vacation at the last minute. They worked well on the beach and on the snorkel boat. Stayed snug on our feet all day even when wet/in water, protecting us from cuts and stepping on things that weren't so comfortable.

Bought these for my grandpa and he said they were uncomfortable on his toes. That they were too tight on his little finger. Not terrible but cheaply made but also reflects the price. Get what you pay for the type of situation. The return was easy and quick.

Walmart was on the go and didn't plan on spending much so I chose these for my son. We are used to wearing river shoes so this fitted the bill for us! Great price and fast delivery! The support and straps are great! I would recommend and buy again!

Bought for my brother. If he's not already wearing them, I'd return them. With a sandal, his foot was not properly centered in the insole. Also, there is no arch support as the insole is flat.

Sounds well done so far. The main complaint is that the plastic parts that the straps run through are annoying to say the least - maybe some have blisters - I won't be buying them again.

It was exactly what I was looking for. The toe strap is a bit further back than other sandals. I wanted this because I don't like the strap going over my toes. I'm a size 8 but I always order a size 7 sandals and they fit a size 7 perfectly. The price was great too.

Great sandals. I've worn out my Keva and was looking for a similarly cheaper replacement. This is compliant. Lighter, soft insole adapts well to the foot after a week or cm, good choice. I recommend these sandals.

These are great budget sandals. I've had them for a few weeks and they are holding up very well. They fit perfectly, are very comfortable and lightweight, yet durable. I will definitely buy them again.

This is a simple and inexpensive pair of sandals. According to my findings with sandals at the orthopedist, there is NO arch support. Velcro fasteners do not hold well, constant readjustment is required.

This is a great Teva imitation without having to pay for the brand name. I took them on a hike and they were amazing. However, the quality is what you would expect from a $20 shoe. Some brand tags have started to detach. The functionality remains, but the aesthetics are lost

They laughed because I wore beach sandals to work as a picker. I can't wait to pull up this retro Jesus 4 tomorrow. I'm 38 and the older I get the less I care what other people think. I'm tired of wearing sneakers all day, ingrown toenails etc because of this. Also, I've lived in Florida for 20 years. I guess now I can even wear strappy sandals with socks if I want to.

The ankle strap is not installed correctly. I can't believe this slipped through their quality check. Will send back and will have to order new ones.

The soles are much thicker than traditional flip flops and even offer some arch support. After a little adjustment (mostly on my part as my feet have adjusted to the shoes) they are comfortable enough to wear all day. I can modify them to add more arch support, that's easy enough.

I have a size 9 in the Akira hiking sandals. I found them to run large so consider ordering a size smaller. I like hiking sandals, but the islander is back. I found that my foot was not aligned with the Islander's insole, causing my pinky toes to land on or over the edge of the sandal. Also, the islanders' harnesses are lighter than the hikers' and probably not as strong. Also, the islanders don't have pads on the harness clips, so they can interfere with walking. I am very happy with these sandals - I haven't taken them off since they arrived - so comfortable and light - just what I was hoping for. The price is so low - I can buy 5 pairs for what I used to throw away for such shoes from other manufacturers.
