Good little fan for heating, cooling and air quality

My office gets a bit hot during the day and this fan keeps me cool. Attached to the side of the table, I can turn it on when needed. I've been using it for a year and haven't had any problems with it. Sometimes the front end starts to sag and I have to tighten the thumbscrew, but this fan is more than fair for the price of this quality. I've just ordered two more of these so I'd say I'm pleased.

Regular small household fan fan

I bought two of these fans for my apartment, small greenhouses to keep my orchids circulating air. These fans run continuously 8-12 hours a day. I clean them every six months to remove the dust that collects on them. They worked great for what I use them for and one is still working, the other died in the summer of 2013. So if I could I would give one of the fans five stars and the other three stars, but now that I see when I bought them, I got my money's worth from them. I was going to give…

Great for boats - heating, cooling and air quality

I researched several small plug in fans for my sailboat and then bought 3 different models. This fan consistently produced the most air with the least amount of thrust. I have an inverter on my boat and I can see exactly how many amps are coming out of my batteries to run the fan. The 12 volt batteries go through the inverter to get 120 volts. This fan required 1.0 amp (12 volts) to run at high speed and 0.8 amp at low speed. Another fan with *less* air movement drew 1.3 amps at high speeds and

WORKS WELL in household fans

I used to buy a pair of these fans for use at my usually overheated former workplace. They have worked well for several years. I was most impressed with the clips, which were very strong and held the fans in place very well. After the fans died I saved the clips to use on home renovations when attachment was required. When I saw Atlantic Breeze fans available I bought two for home use. While these new companies are doing well, clip-on clips aren't what they used to be. I have fans attached to…

Good fan but not without flaws

I bought this fan for the dumbest reason: I have a 2.1 computer speaker system that costs a lot of money and the first set I had was a transistor that was destroyed there; Consequently I am afraid of overheating and decided to use this fan to cool the amplifier panel. Although it turned out that my first few speakers were probably defective, I have no regrets buying a fan as it proved useful elsewhere. As you can see from the dimensions given, this fan is quite small, so you won't get cold…
