great value best single board computer

This kit has so many different features and things to do with it - it's a great starter kit with lots of learning options. There's a lot of really great stuff in the kit. We used it to teach my son, who is a beginner, how to code. The amount of stuff it contains makes it very valuable.

Great deal on computers and accessories

This product is better than I expected. It's amazing that editing and programming my own design comes with gaining knowledge. The quality of the board and components is pretty good. Most importantly, the price is very reasonable. I will most likely buy it again to give as a gift.

Great kit for hobbyists or beginners, helped me demonstrate RFID asset verification

I finally got it working after experimenting with the RFID module (thanks to numerous how-to articles) , since I found it could integrate with our inventory. control system. I was able to write to a third-party passive card and key fob with the RFID module enabled. So far I'm happy with this kit and have only completed one of the experiments.

This is a good kit for beginners with one caveat

This is a good kit for beginners, you can do many experiments with Arduino and electronics with this kit to gain experience of how electronics work . The experiment instructions are clearly written and include code examples in both the official Arduino C language and block languages derived from the Scratch programming language. The caveat I mentioned is that I can't find a ULN2003 stepper motor driver to experiment with the (included) DC motor. I was wondering if it just wasn't in my box, but…

A great training kit - or a good supply of spare parts.

If you're looking for the perfect way to learn Arduino at a truly affordable price, you can't go wrong. Everything from breadboards to jumpers, displays and more. Water sensor, motor, LEDs and - yes - more. I started learning Arduino and then Arduino LilyPad mainly for lighting effects for cosplay props. Just so much potential.

Broken Arduino, horrible instructions

Arduino not working, luckily I had one my brick could use. The instructions are old, need updating and are generally not very good, luckily I'm not a beginner so I can teach my son how to make projects. But it has a lot of fun components and we look forward to continuing to work on projects.

Great setup to start learning code

The kit was the perfect start for a beginner. I'm new to this and it took me a while to get the program working on my laptop. The first thing to remember is that it comes with a CD with books and instructions, most laptops don't have CDs/DVDs installed. So far it's been fun tinkering with it in my free time.
