Great media player for streaming media player

Wow this little player can easily play 2K videos. The user interface is so simple. Just select the file type and you will see a list of movies.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Expensive

Rename m4v files to mp4 to allow playback

M4v files won't play. Renamed to mp4 and it seems to be working fine. Only received and used once, but works great so far. Loading took about 20 seconds.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Not sure

The compact media player works well with a variety of video formats

Overall the player works well and is easy to set up and use. Because it's quite small and light, it's easy to attach to the back of a monitor or TV with double-sided tape. The remote control range is too short and you must be within 30 cm of the player for it to respond to the remote control.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Some minor issues

Outstanding media player for TV and video

I needed a new media player to play USB music through my stereo. I use a small monitor to view files etc. The instructions could have been more complete - it's just a small booklet with fine print and just basic minimal instructions. But once I set it up, it works great - fast and responsive. The remote works well, but I think it's missing a few controls, like pausing the music. Overall I'm used to how it works and I'm very happy with it.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Clarity

Brilliant! But not saving progress

Thing is cool as the name suggests. I put some videos on the SD card and also connected a separate hard drive via USB, reads both without problems. Put it in our caravan and enjoy all kinds of children's movies while traveling and without internet. So small, ideal for compact travel. The only downside is that your progress is often not saved. So when you watch a movie you started the day before, you have to rediscover where you left off. So I'm deducting 1 star.

Pros
  • Stable results when testing
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Great video, great sound, few options

As a primary media player for USB and SD storage sources, it works great and plays all video/audio formats, at least the ones I gave it. A rather big flaw is the lack of some basic features that most video players have, namely: proper encoding of embedded subtitles, changing the format of existing subtitles, adding SRTs to video playback, and no audio equalization when listening to songs. .In terms of visual fidelity, it gets the job done flawlessly, but as I said, the lack of some (imo) basicโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive

Plays well but instructions are poor

It took a long time to learn the player. We've been using media players for ten years, so we know how they should work. The user manual is useless. I downloaded the file to enlarge the printout for reading. After I did that, it didn't help much. There is a very steep learning curve. The media player plays videos quite well with good sound. I have found that I have less control with this player than with my previous player. One thing that really bothers me is the fact that the hard drive staysโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Something different
