I really liked this product after the first installation. Excellent image quality and user-friendly interface. I like that it was very convenient to record with the device on. After about 2 months the camera became unreliable and didn't show any video. Sometimes I could get it working again by disconnecting and reconnecting the camera head unit. Do yourself a favor and don't read other reviews that say the picture is fantastic because it's no better than the camera on a 2010 phone. Make sure to leave space to access the micro SD card during installation. Also, I found quite by accident that the adhesive mounting plate detaches from the camera by sliding it forward or backward while holding the camera body. He fits in somehow. I installed this for my Atoto S8 Ultra. It worked perfectly. I tried my old Atoto camera from my A6 but it doesn't work with S8 Ultra so I had to go with this one. The image was clear enough for my main unit's 10-inch screen. I haven't tried to check if the quality is 1080p on the computer. Installation was easy. Literally plug and play! Customization available. Nice that the camera has an SD card slot, so my SD card slot on my head unit is now free for other things. Update! Guaranteed to work!

I bought this camera to replace a 720p USB DVR and it was definitely a step up. Video quality in daylight is bright and clear, but looks a bit washed out at times.
