🔧 Enhance Transmission Efficiency with ATP B-165 Automatic Transmission Filter Kit Review

Good quality filter and gasket. Installed on 03 Blazer with 4.3L Vortec and 4L60E Deep Pan. The gearbox shifts nice and cool as it should. Good part of ongoing maintenance

Great product. Bought one for the deep pan, ZR2 version. I like the third pad. It has 4 holes smaller than the rest which keeps the bolts and gasket in place and stays aligned to tighten the bolts. So much easier!

I bought this for my 2006 Hummer H3 and compared the photos here. I have a deep pan, but my pan won't snap into place. The gap is about 1/4 inch, the parts store didn't have one, had to send one back along with the old filter hoping to return it, received it quickly, good quality, just doesn't fit.

The gasket included in the kit was torn and unusable. I specifically use ATP gear sets because of the thicker sump washer. I've used ATP before with no problems. I don't know if this is due to ATP's quality control or if it was damaged in transit from Revain. The box it came in looked rough, so make up your own mind. Back to basics.

Filters of course the same as Wix or elsewhere - on the outside. Fits perfectly. Lubricated it with fresh ATF and it ran in smoothly into the gearbox. A tip: use your finger to check if the oil seal is in good condition, it should be fine. If so, don't even think for a second that you want to replace it.
