The filter advertised is not the one they send you! The photo shows the original Dutch-made NTZ filter. They send me a ribbed manure filter from Taiwan.

The image shown here is the filter supplied by the OEM (Ford/Motorcraft) and actual manufacturer (NTZ). It comes in a small sealed transparent plastic bag in an unsealed box, made in Taiwan. THIS IS NOT AN NTZ/Motorcraft/Ford Filter. Do not be fooled.

Item not as shown. It is important that NTZ makes these filters for Ford. So when you buy NTZ brand filters, you are getting a Ford OEM filter. I don't risk a few bucks on a filter for my transmission. I should have read other reviews before purchasing. Gears are expensive and tolerances are critical, so purchasing accurate OEM filters is essential.

This is the same length as OEM Motorcraft. This means you must use the cup and spring assembly used in the Motorcraft filter. MUST use, otherwise the filter will not filter the liquid properly. Often repair shops use a NAPA or WIX filter instead of an OEM. These are good filters, but these filters are longer than OEM and you don't use a cup and spring. That's $40 from Ford if the store didn't give it back to you! You might as well stick with NAPA or WIX if you don't have a build.
