Enhance Efficiency with ATP FG-300 Reusable OE Style Automatic Transmission Oil Pan Gasket Review

No leaks. The previous owner changed the transmission oil but used some sort of silicon seal, leaking and ruined everything. It's clean and good as it should be.

I changed the transmission oil in my son's truck and used the new plain rubber gasket that came with the filter. Started leaking after 3 weeks. This filter is much better just by looking at it. Works perfectly.

I really wanted and need to use this gasket on a new Dorman 265-805 transmission pan. The gasket is designed for use on a standard Ford transmission pan with an embossed circle stamped into the edge of the expansion pan for alignment. Is assembly possible without gluing? The idea of reuse wins!

No compatibility? I don't do much of this work. I saw a one star review saying that was the problem. I inserted screws from above to highlight the problem I was having. I don't think this gasket will ever fit my truck. The problem is not in the seal but in the application.

Runs great but started leaking after 18 months (20,000 miles). I bought it for the same reason a lot of people here do: to reuse it. The fact that it took 18 months suggests a quality issue rather than anything else. This is my first ATP pad, I would try again but still disappointing.

The seller replied "We need to make money." The item was exactly as described and is as good as the OEM.

This gasket does not fit my 92 Bronco with stock E4OD as advertised. The design does not allow for a tight enough fit to prevent leaks due to gasket protrusions. The stock pan bolts are not long enough to compensate for the added thickness of this washer. I actually cut 3 screw holes to tighten to specs. The seal drained the transmission oil as soon as the sump was filled. After removing the pan and gasket, I went back to the composite gasket with no problems. Not satisfied with this product.

This gasket is required when replacing an old Ford E4OD transmission pan with a new 4R100 oil pan that has a large drain plug. The gasket is a steel-rubber sandwich with steel washers built into the bolt holes to prevent over-tightening. I installed it very easily, no more leaks I got from the flat neoprene gasket that came with the filter. It may sound expensive, but it's not disposable like it used to be, it's meant to be reused. .
