You get what you pay for, made in the USA!

Used them on my Toyota Sequoia 2001 2wd and they changed the world. I had a target for a p0770 (Shift Lock Solenoid Failure) completely fixed and the actuators and circuitry are now like new by a lot! Highly recommended. Don't miss out on a cheaper kit, they are made in the USA and you get what you pay for!

Ideal for old jeeps

Easy to install, just slightly more difficult than changing filters and fluids. The new solenoids with an improved ground wire were just what my old Jeep needed. Shifts are now smooth as silk. I wish I had done that sooner. Before you let a mechanic talk you into changing your transmission, spend $150 and an hour trying it out. Time and money well spent.

They worked! best in transmissions and parts

I put them in an AW4 transmission for a 1998 Jeep Cherokee because there were transmission codes. I couldn't find a transmission shop for at least 2 weeks. Eventually I gave up and did it myself. This job was no more difficult than changing the fluid and filter! I was impressed that the parts are made in the USA! Also, they worked and fixed my shifting issues.

Pros
  • kick down solenoids
Cons
  • unreliable

Works great in Kickdown Solenoids

I drive a '99 Jeep Cherokee and it fits perfectly. My transmission was having trouble shifting and giving out some codes for 2-3 and 3-4. After searching the internet I went here and finally bought them to replace them all. Installation was pretty easy. Keep in mind that just like mine, your transmission may be in emergency mode, so it may take a day or two to settle down. I bought it in July 2016 and have had no problems since!

You can do that. Good for transmissions and parts

I have a 1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ with an AW4 4 speed automatic transmission. Recently the check engine light came on. Codes P0700, P0753, and P0715 are transmission related. I bought this solenoid kit based on the reviews on the Revain and Jeep forums. (Very good DIY article with photos: (.) In the attached photo after installation (front left of car), the YELLOW circles are the shift solenoids (orange wire) and the WHITE circle is the overdrive solenoid (blue wire ). ) and The RED circles are…
