Started in very hot weather on a 4.3 v6 blazer received a transmission slip code, used this transmission service kit, no installation issues and the transmission works great

The product package is not very informative. This dose is not suitable for my application. I had to search harder to make sure I got the right filter.

The filter is not as deep as the depth filter. Revane says it fits my 2003 Avalanche, but it doesn't. This is a small panel filter. Seems like a good product but I don't install it.

research after 98 you need a deep pan these clowns said this is what i need paid 25.00 for a filter around 12.00. Thank you bozo THIS PRODUCT IS LISTED INCORRECTLY FOR A 2004 BLAZER.

Fake filter for base Silverado 1500 with 4.8L 4L60E transmission (tool "would it fit in your car" said it would) . The filter is not properly seated against the gasket - it is not properly sloped. Will return this mess a waste of time. Also, the cheap gasket that came with this thing also leaked. Replaced with FELPRO Gasket ($7) and Permatex High-Tack and sealed. NAPA auto parts have the right filter.

Excellent fit for 4L60E on 1996 2WD Astro with smaller sump (flat bottom). Also comes with a filter gasket, although I was able to keep the old gasket in good condition (I understand it can be tricky to remove and I didn't want to risk damage). The sump gasket is rubber and the 16 sump bolt holes are slightly smaller, allowing the bolts to be partially pre-threaded, which keeps the washer in place when lifting/repositioning the pallet. Dirt is not required.
