This cable is 30 years old and works better than this new one

Cable broke in half during installation! Very cheaply made. In the end I went to the dump and got the cable from 82-85 S-10. This cable is 30 years old and works better than this new one!

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Doubtful

Ideal for aftermarket

This is the correct part for Chevy K10 87 350 TBI. The gas pedal is better day and night, very light now. I had to remove the rubber grommet from the firewall connector, but I couldn't snap it into place. YMMV but I couldn't squeeze it hard enough to get it in place.

  • Weight
Cons
  • High Price

Recovers lost energy - cable

Easy installation, perfect for my '91 Jimmy. Replacing this was one of the best decisions I made for my truck as the throttle responds correctly and it feels like I'm discovering a whole new motor. It releases energy that I couldn't access before because of the tight cables.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Looks Good Falling Apart

1991 Chevy Suburban v2500 w/350tbi & 4l80e Mostly Stock - When properly installed in the correct location, the cable is 1/2 inch shorter causing the motor not to be idle. I've tried removing the cable to find a place where it will work, the plastic crimp end of the cable gland failed. If you are towing it on a trailer it should be fine, not recommended for everyday vehicles.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • I Won't Tell

Works and fits just like the original

Works well so far. Last year I replaced my original sticky cable on my 87 Chev R20 with a Pioneer branded cable. When I picked the truck up from storage this spring it was stuck again, not impressed! I decided to try this ATP brand, the quality is much better! It fits and works exactly like my original OEM cable as opposed to the Pioneer cable. Before peeling off the original, be careful of the cable routing, mine will make a sharp kink if it's not in the right place, which can lead to…
