Two stars because it's cpsc certified and looks great. Unfortunately it fell into disrepair after only two months (used about once a week) as one of the two straps became unraveled and is no longer safe to use. Very disappointing.

After a few months of use, it stays together with slight bumps. Fits a 5 year old and is comparable to most helmets in terms of fit. Some have problems with parts of the buckle slipping and handling the extra strap. The red chin guard is usually not in the middle, but under the chin. Overall my kid is happy with it and loves the design.

This kids helmet is the lightest I've seen which is very important when you have a 3 year old who doesn't like wearing helmets. He actually lets it on. It is adjustable in two ways: the dial on the back to adjust the diameter and the chin straps are also adjustable. Offers a good fit. And how nice is it to have a glowing Batman helmet? The built-in rear light has 3 different modes to protect children.

Nice helmet. Nice design. There's Spiderman and Batman. Both had the little backlight button falling off when they arrived. I had to glue them myself. One of them doesn't work and doesn't burn until you hold it. Luckily we probably won't be using helmets at night. I love how they are adjustable, however when fitting them to my children the red chin strap does not fit over the buckle.

Bought this helmet for my 6 year old son. It was the only helmet I could find in this price range with the Batman logo. Overall very happy with this choice. I especially like that the straps are easy to adjust, she can't do it alone. It can also take at least 3 more years to grow into a helmet. It's light, comfortable and actually very pretty. he especially likes it! Very happy with this purchase.

Good quality helmet. It is light and well suited for children. Too bad they make it in large sizes for teenagers and adults. Goodbye! The combination of yellow and black with chin strap and LED lights looks great!

Do not buy this item. Bought for my grandson for his birthday. It has a light on the back and comes with button batteries. Children can open it easily, there is no lock or screw to protect it from children. My granddaughter did just that, thinking it was money. She then put it in her mouth, choked and swallowed the battery and she had to go to the emergency room, after which she was flown to another hospital for life. I think maybe making it without a screw to hold it is a technical error.

This helmet was a great purchase for my almost 5 year old. He loves the Batman logo and thinks the light on the back of the helmet is really cool. I love that it's fully adjustable so it offers the perfect fit. My son has a big head so I was worried it wouldn't fit, but it fits perfectly. I also like that the chin strap has more cushioning than other helmets. This makes my child more comfortable (and willing to carry it every time they want to ride their bike or scooter.
