Well done. Simple

Very nicely done. Simple, solid design. NOTE: They can be disassembled to shorten the line or route the line through a closed hole in the kayak anchorage.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Protection

Sturdy, comfortable, easy to fit

Very durable. I have used my pair on two different kayaks (to replace lost/broken handles). On a kayak I had to remove the handle cover to detach and attach the cord. Easy and quick to assemble. Fits comfortably in your hand when moving the kayak.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Easy installation, solid

One of the original handles on the upper kayak came loose, I got it for repair. Easy to use, looks good, only minor complaint is I had to buy two when I only needed one. I'll try to leave the excess where I can find it in case another handle breaks.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Negative is present

Buy a replacement Attwood

Shown is a Hobie handle from my Hobie Yak. I love yak but I hate pens. Atwood is inexpensive and Hobie installs in 30 seconds. One of those cases where the aftermarket is better than the original part. 'enough said.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Some trouble

Not for a kayak. on Kayak Hardware

Lol ok this is crazy but I bought these for our camper. Our "theater seat" chairs have retractable footrests, but the handles are hidden between the armrest and the seat! what happened to it I attached them to the existing "handles" to make them longer and easier to access and use. Works perfectly! (Think in other directions ;) )

Pros
  • Stable Test Results
Cons
  • Succinct Manual

Great value, seems solid

I've only had these on my kayak for a few weeks but they have comfortable handles, they look good, they're easy to install and they seem very durable. I had to shorten the rope which was a quick task. The original grips on my Hobie Revolution cost more than a pair of these, and while they're made of a softer material, they're poorly designed, with metal built into the grip that's known to rust after a few years. Time will tell how well they hold up!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Good but not great
