The product was slightly wrong because the cover protecting the cable connector was not the one in the photo. I basically had to rip the rubber boot off the old one and five to put this one on. It's not completely tight now, but I think I'll put up with it.

The product has no protective rubber. The item is NOT the one pictured. I went to my kettle but it didn't work. On my hand is the original that I watch from my RV. (This is what it should look like). I installed what I bought and received in error.

Along with the new thermostat I bought this was an easy way to clean and restore my old water heater. Works perfectly. The only problem is that for the connector where I connect to the board there was no cap, the old one can't be removed without destroying it. But otherwise it works great

Easy to install. I replaced a block in my newly purchased van that didn't look like this one. Someone hooked up another igniter so replacing mine was a little more difficult as I had to find screws to work with this unit. It's ok and the fault isn't with the supplier/product, it's with the software. Works as it should. Just make sure you have multiple holes where you mount to be sure and determine which hole to use to install back into the same hole.
