Power - 4000 Watts Max x 1 @1-Ohm, 2000 Watts Max x 1 @2-Ohms. Class D - Power loss is significantly reduced making the amplifier highly efficient. Excess energy is stored until it’s needed instead of being converted into heat. Reduction in size/weight, reduced power waste, smaller heat sink, compact circuitry. 1 Ohm Stable - Able to continuously power loads of 1 Ohm without encountering difficulties such as overheating. Typically made to power up subwoofers that demand the heavier power load requirements to be able to perform the way they were made to. Strapping Capable - You are able to strap two AR4000D amplifiers and double the power that is being sent to your subwoofer(s). You now have the ability to connect more subwoofers to take advantage of the extra power. Variable Bass Boost - Bass Boost allows you to adjust the low bass within the boost range to just the way you like it. Variable Subsonic Filter - To prevent your subwoofer(s) from bottoming out, the variable subsonic filter filters out frequencies below the subwoofer(s) specified low frequency limits and allows the driver to reach a maximum safe excursion. Variable Low-Pass Crossover - Subwoofers reproduce sound based on a number of different low-range frequencies. You can set exact sound specifications for the bass frequency reproduction. Perfect purchase, no problem!

Very satisfied with the product. It is exactly as described in the description. Very reliable amplifier, excellent quality. Easy installation; With a bit of common sense and a little wiring knowledge, I was able to easily wire the amp correctly on the first try. The biggest challenge was figuring out how to disassemble the dashboard on mine and trying to find the right place for the floor in my truck! Ha ha. Boss - BASS BOSS! 5 the hard way.

Hey this is one of the best products I've bought on Amazon. This bad boy does his job Plus More if that's what you're looking for. Blown 2 fuses under the hood before I got my Thump where I wanted it but trust me it didn't take long. My 4000 boss pressed 3 12s (photo in retrospect) and they go BANG! BOSS Audio Systems AR4000D Class D is Da Boss!

Good after my 2000w amp burned out after 10 years [but this amp never gave out unless it maxed out the A/B amp with no heat issues and my Rear seat was folded down to get air. lol].but i think my country was the culprit. Always attach the previous motor housing bracket to the body next to the amplifier. For some reason this may be a source of resistance in the line. Terminal melted on crunch amp. Budget boom, inflated reviews

As you read this review, the first thing to note is NO 4000 watt amp. I recently bought this amp and tested it on my amp dyno and also checked it extensively. Here's what I found. The amp itself has a really cool heatsink, it looks way better than most amps that cost a lot more. It's aluminum and appears to have a great fit and finish.
